Launch is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to provide support for a high-volume and fast-paced organization.

**Responsibilities**:

- Development and potentially maintenance of advanced software systems and their features.
- Interact with customers and partners to scope and estimate user stories from acceptance criteria. - Produce highly testable code with an emphasis on quality and correctness.
- Attend regular project meetings, report on progress and setbacks, and participate in both planning and retrospective exercises.
- Help with mentoring Junior and Mid-Level SDEs.

**Required Experience/Qualifications**:

- BA/BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- 7+ years of professional experience as an SDE.
- Strong understanding of Computer Science fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms.
- Proficiency in a modern programming language, e.g., C#, Java, Go, Rust.
- Proficiency in Python or JavaScript.
- Knowledge and experience with code coverage, unit/integration tests, TDD and CI/CD concepts.
- Knowledge and experience with version control systems, e.g., git, SVN, TFVC.
- Knowledge and experience with software engineering life cycle and best practices.
- Knowledge and experience with Scrum software development methodologies.
- Knowledge and experience with driving design and architectural discussions.
- Understanding of virtualization, hypervisors, and containerization.
- Ability to document technical design and approach of software produced.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment. E
- xcellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Proficiency with C# and ASP.NET
- Experience in building scalable distributed systems.
