Quality Control Supervisor

IFF has an exciting opportunity for a **Quality Control Supervisor** at the **Garín, Argentina** site.
This position is responsible for the overall operation of the site’s quality control laboratories to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and IFF corporate standards.
The Quality Control Supervisor is also responsible for ensuring the department's smooth operation and that analysis results align with customer and corporate requirements.
Accountable for maintaining the sector's purpose and vision: "**To be a reliable and efficient department**" through implementing measures that improve response times and the quality of information and results.
As a member of the Quality team, this role also involves supporting the Food Safety area and actively participating in the Food Safety Team.
**Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following**:
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of sector procedures to ensure optimal operational efficiency.
- Manage internal communication, facilitate seamless collaboration among different departments within the company, and oversee external communication with clients.
- Play a key role in supporting Quality incident investigations, addressing internal rejections and external complaints to enhance overall product quality.
- Contribute to enhancing analysis methodologies by actively participating in the review process and implementing new analysis technologies. Align these improvements with corporate and client requirements to ensure state-of-the-art practices.
- Serve as a valuable member of the Food Safety Team, contributing to the ongoing commitment to maintaining high standards in food safety protocols.
**Job Requirements**:
- BS Degree in a Food or Chemical Science; or similar science-based degrees preferred
- Minimum of 5 years in a food, chemical or manufacturing environment with a minimum of two years of experience in a quality control or quality assurance functions.
- Previous Lab Supervisory experience is strongly preferred.
- Food knowledge (preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to influence teams and resolve conflicts in support of organizational goals.
- Excellent interpersonal skills: demonstrated ability to work effectively, professionally, and respectfully in a team-based environment to involve peers, customers, line management and technical competency experts.
- Demonstrated supervisory skills (leadership, written and oral communication skills, financial).
- Fluent English (oral and written) is required.
