Anaplan Developer

**JOB DESCRIPTION**
Financial Analysis is responsible for partnering across the firm to provide financial and strategic analysis, oversight, and coordination of budgeting and forecasting. Our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) teams are responsible for a wide range of activities including financial control, forecasting and budgeting, analysis of financial/business metrics, delivery of weekly/monthly/quarterly management reporting, development of new reporting capabilities (e.g. dashboards), and advising the line of business CFOs on how to increase profitability and efficiencies.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work directly with CIB Finance PnA teams on strategic, organizational and operational projects designed to improve productivity and operational efficiency.
- Be an integral part of the CIB transformation developing, maintaining and expanding the systems, and sharing best practices to enable connected planning within CIB and across OCFO (Office of CFO).
- Build complex models in Anaplan and be flexible to support various programming languages.
- End-to-end project execution, from designing, implementing and optimizing, to ongoing maintenance/customer success, and working closely with business partners for execution support.
- Interview end users and define user stories
- Design and develop business driven UX pages / dashboards /workflows in Anaplan.
- Design and develop training programs to drive increased end-user adoption.
- Strategic vision/planer based on the analysis of the P&A finance needs and technology.
- Optimizing channels to meet client needs and expectations advancing a scalable IT infrastructure that can support existing and new technology

**Qualifications**
- Certified in Anaplan and preferably a Master Anaplanner, preferable
- Ideally 2+ years Anaplan experience preferably in the large Financial firms.
- Flexible to consider strong relevant Qualifications in other programming languages
- Financial Planning knowledge experience around Budgeting and Forecasting processes.
- Ability to establish governance over systems inclusive of Anaplan (i.e. security, workspaces, modules, lists, and other model settings)
- Basic accounting and finance knowledge; ability to translate current models into efficient and scalable Anaplan models
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills with the ability to impart ideas in both technical and user-friendly language
- Highly motivated and driven, with keen attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a self-managed environment
- Experience in defining systems strategy, developing systems requirements, managing system development life cycle, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures, and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines.
- Experience managing joint and parallel projects of various sizes
- Experience in Essbase or IBM Planning analytics
- Experience in agile project delivery
- Good to have experience in BI Tools like Alteryx, Qlik, Tableau
