The Field Service Engineer (FSE) provides on-site technical support, installation, maintenance, and repair services for our products. The FSE will be trained to become a product expert and provide technical support for both our customers and Business Development Managers (BDM). The FSE will support the BDM’s with site designs, site surveys, and the commissioning of customer sites.

**Responsibilities**:

- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues, and recommend training and solutions to customers
- Collaborate to ensure that customer inquiries are responded to in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate inventory of equipment and timely records of service activities
- Read and write technical reports and commissioning plans
- Stay up-to-date with new products and technologies, and participate in training and development programs as needed
- Manage inventory of equipment, and ensure that all equipment is readily available
- Other duties as assigned by the Service Engineering Manager

**Requirements**:

- Strong technical background with experience in installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment
- Networking competency and IP networking: 2+ years
- Technical Field Support: 2+ years
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively to find solutions
- Willingness to travel to various, sometimes remote, locations for service calls
- Hold and maintain a passport and have the ability to get a USA visa
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Capable of lifting and carrying 50 pounds
- High English proficiency in reading, writing and speaking

Desirable Skills:

- Video Management Systems (VMS) experience
- Ethernet Wiring
- Security System Installation
- Alarm Integration / Panel understanding

Pay: $15,000.00 - $20,000.00 per year USD

**Job Type**: Contract

Pay: $3,965,535.00 - $5,287,381.00 per year

Willingness to travel:

- 50% (required)
