Purpose of the job:
Position holders focus on modelling of complex project pricing and developing profit and loss analysis under different scenarios that may vary following market positions, geography, competitors and customer group.

A key aspect of this role is to work closely with the Commercial team, BDMs, PDDRs, Engineering, Operations, Tax, and other key functions supporting cost inputs improve the response time for proposals, accuracy of cost models, competitiveness, and tracking / management of actual project costs vs. budget.

Reports to:
Pricing and Commercial Finance Manager

Accountability Level:
Jr or Semi Sr level experienced individual (operational/technical role, or professional). Works independently, with limited supervision. Problems faced may be difficult but can be addressed within an established framework

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead & collaborate in Project Cost modelling supporting Pricing and Commercial Finance Manager
- Engagement with BDM to coordinate kick-off meetings with key stakeholders as part of P&L development and prepare documents for final review with Sales and Management
- Support the tracking of project costs “as bid” vs. actuals through engagement with Project Management team and Finance
- Develop and maintain a database of project costs to support functional review of project cost estimates
- Maintain LAM Teamsite P&L Cost Models at country level issued across power projects and review quarterly with key stakeholders in order to accurately reflect the local taxes and other standardize local costs
- Perform P&L reviews with Pricing and Commercial Finance Manager, Head of Commercial & Head of Finance to verify accuracy of costs and scope of supply
- Support development of Budgetary Cost Models
- Liase with BDMs, Engineering, OPS, and Product Sales Technical Support providing support on planning and development of P&L & Cost Models

Typical Experience:
University Degree or Specialized Diploma qualification preferable
