Jr. Project Engineer

**Responsibilities / Duties**
- Leads the utilization of project controls work process and best practices to drive project performance with regards to cost and schedule.
- Provides overall leadership of the project controls resources assigned to the project. Monitors project demands and escalates to management when additional resources are needed.
- Completes Project Controls deliverables for input to the project Monthly Report and other components as delegated by the Project Engineer.
- Owns all documents and deliverables created by the project controls team.
- Completes Global Project Methodology (GPM) Measures reporting.
- Supports Independent Project Analysis (IPA) reviews as required.
- Oversees Change Management Work Process.
- Uses understanding and utilization of project metrics including Cost Competitiveness Ratio and Schedule Duration Ratio to perform role.
- Establishes thresholds for Management Intervention Process.
- Purchasing and expediting of services and materials for construction
- Teamwork with the Plant/Maintenance/Projects team
**Required Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering
- English advanced
- MS Excel and SAP knowledge
- One year's experience in a similar role
