Payroll Leader, S.Cone LAO
**MISSION**:
This role is responsible forleading the Payroll South Cone (Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay) team thatwill deliverpayroll and employer compliance services,including the management of time and attendancesystems.
The Payroll Leader, S.Cone, willprovide centralized leadership for the existing hybrid model (vendor/in house) of payroll/time and attendance processes and execution ofamonthlyinternalinput, checking outputactivitiesfor the full payroll cycle, plus alllocalemployer complianceactivitiesincluding reporting requirements.
The role will support and promote a continuous improvement culture within the team, to allow constant process optimizations and leverage opportunities towards engaging and providing a service focused on the employee experience, always in accordance with the LAO Payroll Manager.
The role is also responsible to manage all Payroll vendors and support Payroll Team to have a good relationship with HR Operations areas and other Global Functions. Leadership and communication skills are key for the success of this role.
**MAIN RESPONSABILITIES**:
Manage a team of Payroll Specialists to perform day-to-day transactions, data entry, payroll changes, inputs and payroll processing; also projects related to or impacting the organization.
Managethemonthly payroll/time and attendancecyclefor North LAO region, including anynon-systemdriven input processing and checking, via the outsourced provider to ensure timely and accurate payment to employees.
Oversee the service received by the provider taking any corrective action where necessary supported by the Vendor Relationship Manager and proactively recommending improvements or efficiencies supported by LAO Payroll Manager.
Provide technical payroll/time and attendanceinput on any payroll process or system changes as required.
Develop and communicate payroll/time and attendancepolicy and procedures to ensure roles and responsibilities are clear for all parties involved in the process, including employees, line managers, HR, Finance and theoutsourcedprovider.
Responsible for the team that acts as the escalationcontact for employees, leaders and internal departments for payroll day to day issues.
Provide Payroll expertise to deliver against business goals, utilizing both functional HR/Payroll knowledge and knowledge of the business.
Approve on-cycle and off-cycle payrolls including change requests as they come.
Responsible for providing Payroll guidance to the employees and areas across the business within their defined scope, and responding to all inquiries within service level agreements.
Responsible for sharing best practices and continuous improvement to the Vendor to ensure proper service.
Ensure all labor laws and SOX Controls are adhered to and verify compliance.
Responsible for all Payroll audits ensuring clear action plans and their timely execution.
Responsible for accruals and reconciliation Payroll accounting.
Deliver timely and accurtaley any documentation for labor processes after employee´s termination.
**PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCES REQUIRED**:
Bachelor degree
Managing high quality customer service delivery and performance driven by SLAs and metrics.
Payroll knowledge in the country/area needed and previous experience for at least 3 years.
Vendor Relationship management experience
Drive for results, action oriented.
Political savvy, networking and influencing skills with demonstrated results.
- Relevant experience in local payroll projects or local HR project initiatives.
