**Purpose statement**

**What we are looking for in you**
- Law Student (last year) / Recently graduated from Law school (any equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered).
- Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented and diligent.
- Proficiency in English
- Proficiency in Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to solve problems with autonomy and critical thinking.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist in implementing and maintaining components of a comprehensive compliance validation program (e.g. audit, monitoring, reviews, etc.), with primary responsibility for coordinating with Global Compliance functions and stakeholders globally to respond to and remediate issues detected by validation efforts
- Monitor the effective and timely completion of response and remediation activities, escalate delays or inadequacies, as needed, and periodically provide status updates to Management
- Facilitate and monitor compliance validation efforts, performed by stakeholder groups outside of Global Compliance, associated with Boston Scientific's third parties
- Generate existing, and support the development of new, metrics/dashboards related to Global Compliance's validation and response / remediation programs
- Support the planning and performance of compliance audits / projects under the direction of the Project or Compliance Manager
- Develop and/or enhance Standard Operating Procedures related to processes established to validate compliance and respond / remediate identified issues
- Cultivate internal relationships across functions, geographies and functions and develop an external network of resources to facilitate completion of tasks
- Obtain a strong understanding of the business areas, regions and/or functions relevant to the compliance program and the associated compliance risks
- Follow established policies and procedures to support Boston Scientific’s overall business goals
- Proactively identify value-add opportunities for the Company
- Manage internal process and continuous improvement initiatives
