**We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join our team**

As a **Senior QA Engineer **you can train others dominate the business logic for one product and learn about other products. A Senior QA Engineer has a deep understanding of our quality, development and deployment processes and is aligned to Sovos Best Practices. Shows a good level of leadership and mentoring skills.

**Key Position Responsibilities**
- Shares learnings in an engaging way and recognizes when and how to share globally.
- Focuses on coaching and mentoring and delegates to other team members as needed.
- Contributes on the most complex software delivery projects
- Facilitates larger-scale initiatives to build out, improve our build automation and continue integration.
- Participates and collaborates on Class 1/2 issues.
- Visualizes the full picture and provide impact analysis to the team.
- Regarded as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for multiple modules in a product(s)
- Uses clean-code best practices with all automation and write different types of automated tests.
- Automates test cases/suites quickly and suggests improvements on automated tools or processes.
- Builds automation projects from scratch and participates on automation projects as repo owner.
- Mentors/delivers feedback to team, supports other QA engineers, by monitoring and helping.
- Exhibits a strong sense of self-awareness and authenticity.
- Simulates partnerships using Sovos Org Structure, roles & responsibilities to maximize collaborations.
- Connects with other Product and Technology teams and initiate changes to improve QA involvement.
- Maintains a strong knowledge of Sovos Core Values/ Global QA Practices to support other QAs. Introduces changes to Global QA Practices.
- Communicates with impact consistently and fosters collaboration between teams.
- Supports team decisions and shares responsibility with team for successes and failures.

**What we need from you?**
- Technical Bachelor's degree
- 5-8 years’ experience
- Knowledge of Global Sovos Functionality
- Able to identify technical improvements on QA procedures and best practices and able to suggest improvements on existing practices.
- Able to manage complexity and demonstrates resiliency to stress and tight timelines.
- Ability to anticipate obstacles that may impact other products and teams
- Is a change agent. Facilitates the implementation, acceptance, and sustainability of change within the workplace
- Maintains commitment to goals in the face of obstacles and frustrations
- Adjusts effectively to work within new work structures, processes, and requirements
- Committed to building an effective team by creating trust, rush to conflict, establishing commitment, and creating joint accountability in order to drive results.
