Audit Operations Specialist

**Role Expectations**
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Prepare and monitor engagement letters and profitability reports on a monthly basis.
- Accurately track audit team hours and ensure compliance with time management protocols.
- Coordinate with the billing team post-engagement letter signing to schedule invoices.
- Update systems with new client information following a specific checklist.
- Prepare quizzes and update training materials in Trainual weekly.
- Monitor and ensure the audit team completes required trainings and licensing renewals.
- Prepare and file accounts payable forms as needed.
- Maintain the Quality Control Calendar and adhere to timelines for related tasks.
- Generate non-attest services reports and run budget vs. actual reports for clients as needed.
- Assist in streamlining internal processes, managing documentation, and supporting project workflows.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant coursework or certifications in audit are a plus.
- Previous experience in project coordination, process management, or administrative support within a corporate environment.
- Background in administrative roles within CPA or tax advisory firms, particularly in audit, compliance, or risk management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerBI; experience with Google Sheets and Google Docs.
- Familiarity with project management tools, preferably Karbon.
- Basic knowledge of audit language and procedures.
