Job DescriptionPlans full truck and LTL (less than truck load) outgoing freight based on customer specific routing requirements.Coordinates finished goods inventory to maximize truck usage.Provides support to CS and customers that each work with.Provides report to internal customers such as CS and responsible for CS interface.Coordinating shipments:Receiving and shipping products, materials, and supplies, and tracking their statusMaintaining inventory:Keeping accurate records of inventory, and receiving and placing inventory into stockPackaging and labeling:Preparing items for shipment, including selecting the right container and packing them safelyPreparing paperwork:Creating bills of lading, and checking that the quantities, destination, and routing are correctInspecting shipments:Checking for damage or defects, and recording any discrepanciesOperating equipment:Using forklifts and other equipmentCoordinating:Coordinating warehouse workers and logisticsMaintaining cleanliness:Keeping the warehouse clean and organized
QualificationsAbility to recognize developing maintenance problems when conducting an operator's inspection of Companyvehicles, and to report technical problems to the supervisor or management.Organization and planningSupply chain management knowledgeTime managementComputer skillsProblem-solvingConflict resolution
Additional InformationThe national pay range for this role is $19.00 - $26.50 per hour.
The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location of the hired employee.
The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location.
In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
