**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct in-depth research and analysis of the North American energy transition market, including trends, regulations, industry players, and financial implications.
- Keep a database of projects, people and entities up to date
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with industry sources, C-level executives, and key stakeholders to gather exclusive insights.
- Collaborate with our editorial team to develop story ideas, identify emerging trends, and contribute to editorial planning.
- Ensure accuracy, fact-checking, and adherence to high standards regarding our database.
- Lead and supervise data entry into the system, staying on top of current processes and potential improvements.
- Stay updated on market developments, emerging technologies, and industry events to provide timely and relevant coverage.

**Qualifications**:

- Keen eye for detail and ability to convey information in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in using digital research tools, data sources, and social media platforms to gather information and source story leads.
- Strong understanding or willingness to learn financial and energy concepts and ability to analyse and interpret financial data.
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Finance, Business, or an energy related field is preferred.
