**Main Purpose**

The Project Execution Engineer is responsible for leading and coordinating the execution phase of complex capital projects within the site’s Capital Investment Plan. This role demands robust field experience and deep technical knowledge in industrial project implementation, ensuring alignment with Bayer’s global engineering standards and business objectives. The position is critical to the successful delivery of infrastructure and process improvements that sustain plant operations and enable future growth.

**Your mission Will be to**
- Lead the construction and commissioning phases of multidisciplinary capital projects (civil, mechanical, electrical, automation) ensuring full alignment with scope, budget, timeline, quality, and EHS standards.
- Translate engineering packages into actionable execution plans, with emphasis on constructability, sequencing, and risk mitigation. Conduct detailed field reviews, oversee contractor activities, and ensure readiness of work fronts.
- Serve as the primary field-based technical authority during project execution, proactively identifying and resolving engineering, construction or coordination issues that may impact delivery.
- Develop execution strategies in collaboration with the Development Project Engineer and discipline engineers, including resource planning, logistics, contractor management, and site integration.
- Ensure all site works comply with legal requirements, Bayer’s internal standards, and industry best practices. Lead field safety reviews, pre-startup safety checks, and manage change processes during execution.
- Manage and mentor cross-functional execution teams, fostering a high-performance culture and promoting accountability on deliverables.
- Support technical evaluations during procurement, ensuring contractor qualifications, scope alignment and execution capability.
- Drive continuous improvement and lessons learned processes to improve project performance metrics across the site.
- Actively participate in reviews with global and regional engineering teams to standardize execution models and incorporate innovation and digital tools in field project management.
- Represent the execution function in internal and external audits, shutdown preparations, and post-project reviews.

**Unlock your Potencial**
- Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Electronic Engineer with +5 years of proven experience in industrial project execution, including construction supervision and commissioning.
- Strong knowledge of field engineering, multidisciplinary coordination, and contractor management in regulated industries (e.g., chemical, pharma, agro, oil & gas).
- Experience with complex brownfield environments, integration of new assets into operating facilities, and compliance with safety-critical systems.
- Fluent in execution planning tools and project tracking systems. PMP or similar certifications are a plus.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a hands-on approach and ability to manage high-pressure situations in the field.
- Advanced proficiency in English and Spanish.
