Salt Square is a leading outsourcing company that provides high-quality software development services to clients across different industries. Our team of talented and dedicated professionals is committed to delivering innovative solutions that meet our clients' needs. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team and work on cutting-edge projects using the latest technologies. The tech stack that you will be working on consists of javascript for frontend (Node.js, Next.js, React), Python for backend (Django/DRF) and we run everything on GCP.

**Responsibilities**:

- Constant collaboration with the product team regarding features and user stories
- Ownership of your tasks until they are complete (deployed to production) and ownership of your code when it’s in the production environment
- Active collaboration with your team and beyond including participation in planning, demos, and contributing to best practices within your team and beyond- 5+ years of experience in software development
- Proficiency in Django Rest Framework is a plus but if you know other frameworks/languages such as Flask, Spring Boot,.NET you should apply
- Knowledge of Full stack javascript (NodeJS, Next.js, React, Angular) with Typescript
- Knowledge of cloud services (GCP preferred, but other cloud services such as AWS and Azure are also applicable)
- Proficiency with SQL and Data Modeling
- Knowledge of how to build scalable public APIs over HTTP
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Experience in leading and mentoring junior developers is a plus
- Experience with container orchestration (k8), databases, networking, or machine learning/AI is a great bonus
