**Responsibilities**:

- Design, develop, maintain, execute, and support automated and functional test solutions for resilient, distributed, customer-facing, analytic software products and services.
- Review and understand technical requirements with quantitative model terminology to produce test strategies, scenarios, and cases.
- Implement, maintain, and troubleshoot test harnesses, including implementations for various quantitative models.
- Validate analytics across various asset classes.
- Help resolve complex model validation, analytics testing, and technical issues and drive innovations that improve system simplicity, availability, resilience, extensibility, and performance.
- Work with members of the Engineering and Product organizations to define next-generation target test automation architecture built on best-in-class cloud-native technology and design patterns.
- Collaborate with DevOps on the automated build, test, configuration, and deployment processes supporting CI/CD objectives.
- Provide test status and issue reports to product development stakeholders at key stages of the project SDLC.
- Ensure timely response to production issues requiring support from DevTestOps team.

Qualifications:
**Required**:

- Practical knowledge of advanced concepts of software testing.
- Practical knowledge of the concepts, methods, tools, and processes for automating dynamic functional tests and the relationship to test management, configuration management, defect management, software development processes, and quality assurance.
- Working knowledge of financial risk management, market risk, and finance.
- Understanding of various risk modeling and statistical techniques, including factor models, time-series methodologies, performance attribution methodologies, and asset pricing.
- Strong understanding of TDD/BDD and CI/CD processes.
- Ability to work with large and complex data sets.
- Proficient in more than one of the current automation programming languages: C#/.NET., Python, JavaScript, PowerShell, or R.
- Proficient database skills and hands-on SQL experience.
- Proficient with API testing tools: Postman.
- Hands-on experience collaborating on frameworks for test automation and internal software tools to facilitate testing.
- At least three years of relevant experience within the financial technology industry.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills.
- Proficient with bug/project tracking software: Jira.
- Experience with code versioning, branching, and maintenance: GitHub, SourceTree.
- Bachelor’s degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or another quantitative field.

**Preferred**:

- Familiarity with various software life cycle approaches, types of software systems, and test types.
- Proven experience with design, development, and maintenance of test automation solutions for resilient, distributed, customer-facing software products and services.
- Experience with unit testing frameworks: NUnit, xUnit, MSTest
- Proficient in current logging and monitoring tools: Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Grafana.
- FRM Level I or CFA Level II Certification
- Quality assurance/software testing certification: ISTQB Certified Test Automation Engineer
