**About the Role**:
As our Staff Accountant, you won’t just crunch numbers. You’ll be part of a fast-growing team where your work matters. Financial reports aren’t just documents here; they’re tools you’ll use to guide leadership.
Because we leverage QuickBooks Online (QBO) heavily, we’re after someone who doesn’t just know the basics but is confident setting up multi-entity structures, building custom reports, handling integrations (Shopify, Amazon, A2X, etc.), and navigating complexity. If you’ve worked with QBO Enterprise before, that’s a serious plus.

**What You’ll Own**
- Manage bookkeeping across multiple company-owned entities, ensuring accurate and timely entries
- Run payroll and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
- Prepare and assist with tax filings; coordinate with external tax professionals as needed
- Build and reconcile financial reports to keep records clear and reliable
- Support accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, cash flow tracking, and reporting that helps leadership make informed decisions
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
- Lead the year-end close process and support audit preparation
**What You Bring**
**Must-Haves**
- Solid accounting experience, ideally in e-commerce or multi-entity businesses
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, payroll, and assisting with tax preparation (you’ll keep the books accurate and work with external tax professionals during filings)
- Advanced QuickBooks Online (QBO) experience, including:
- Multi-entity setups
- Advanced reporting
- Integrations (Shopify, Amazon, A2X, etc.)
- Troubleshooting and clean-up
- Sharp attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote setup
**Nice-to-Haves**
- Experience with QBO Enterprise (large-scale data, user permissions, deeper analytics)
- CPA certification
- Comfort with tax software and payroll systems (you won’t be filing taxes yourself, but it’s helpful when working with external tax pros)
- Background in e-commerce industry accounting practices
- Project management software experience (our team uses ClickUp)
**What You’ll Need**
- A reliable internet connection (minimum speed of 30 mbps)
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
- Antivirus software installed on your computer (we’ll help you set it up)
- Clear and consistent communication skills
- Dependability and consistency with working hours (8 AM - 5 PM CT, UTC -6)
