**Video Editor Opportunity at Local Legend (Remote - Latin America)** **Who We Are** **Local Legend** is the newly launched sister company of **AdClass** - and we're on a mission to become the go-to lead generation partner for local service-based businesses across the U.S. From land clearing companies in Texas to roofing crews in Florida, we help the backbone of America’s economy fill their calendars with real, ready-to-hire customers. **About the Role** **Role**: Video Editor **Schedule**: Full-time (40 hours/week) | Monday-Friday | Aligned with U.S. Eastern Time **Compensation**: $1,500 USD/month (with opportunity for growth based on performance) **Start Date**: ASAP **Local Legend** is hiring a performance-focused Video Editor to produce high-converting ad creatives for local service businesses. This is not a “make it look cool” role. Your job is to edit ads that stop the scroll, qualify leads, and drive revenue for our clients. You’ll work closely with our Creative Strategists and Media Buyers to turn proven angles, scripts, and raw footage into ads that scale across Meta, YouTube, and Google. If you obsess over why ads work, iterate fast, and let performance data guide your edits—this role fits. **What You’ll Do** **1.** **Edit Ads That Convert** - Edit short-form and mid-form video ads from raw footage, UGC, talking heads, screen recordings, and stock - Deliver scroll-stopping creatives optimized for Meta, YouTube Shorts, and Reels - Turn winning ads into high-volume variations (new hooks, pacing, captions, visuals) - Repurpose organic content into paid ads that actually convert - Implement modern editing patterns: fast hooks, pattern interrupts, captions, punch-ins, b-roll overlays, utilizing AI assets when necessary **2. Light Graphic Design (Canva Required)** - Make basic graphic design edits in Canva (thumbnails, simple overlays, text slides, brand-aligned visuals) - Support creative variations using templates and brand guidelines **3. Performance-Driven Editing** - Edit with direct-response intent, not vibes - Follow scripts, hooks, and angles rooted in avatar psychology and offer positioning - Collaborate with media buyers to iterate based on CTR, CPL, hook retention, and ROAS - Understand when new creative is required (fatigue, scaling, new offers) **4. Speed & Systems** - Hit tight turnaround times without sacrificing quality - Follow and improve existing creative SOPs - Keep ad accounts stocked with fresh creatives as necessary - Name files, versions, and variations cleanly (we scale—sloppiness kills speed) **What We Look For (Skills & Fit)** - **Fluent in English (written and verbal)** — strong communication is a must. - Based in **Latin America (Mexico, Buenos Aires, or similar regions preferred)**: - Comfortable making **basic graphic design edits in Canva**: - Strong understanding of short-form ad content and social media trends - Able to take feedback, iterate quickly, and improve creatives over time - Organized, proactive, and able to work independently without micromanagement **KPIs You’ll Be Accountable For** - Volume of ad-ready creatives delivered weekly - Turnaround time from request → final export - Creative iteration velocity (variants per winner) - Performance contribution (ads you edit that scale) **What You Bring** **Editing Tools** - Strong proficiency in Premiere Pro (CapCut experience a plus) - Comfortable with Captions App and subtitle-based editing - Familiar with AI tools (Descript, ElevenLabs, basic AI video workflows) **Performance Mindset** - You understand direct-response ads, not just aesthetics - You know how pacing, hooks, captions, and framing impact results - You’re comfortable editing ads for local services (contractors, home services, land clearing, etc.) **Execution Style** - You don’t get attached to edits—data wins - You can work independently without being micromanaged **Cultural Fit** - No ego.
