We pursue this mission by offering a gamified fintech and learning ecosystem - with Visa debit cards, family checking accounts, payment network, and AI-powered and embedded financial literacy. Modak is currently at the Series A stage, having raised $19M from leading investors, including Notable Capital (Airbnb, Anthropic, Square, TikTok, Coinbase), Nazca (Kavak, Justo), Monashees (Rappi, Loft), ONE VC, Maya Capital, and more than 40 other top angel investors, founders, and operators across the US, India, and Latin America.
**About the role**:
We’re looking for a Paid Media Specialist to lead user acquisition through digital campaigns. Your core focus will be paid media, but with a growth mindset: connecting campaign execution with creative testing, experimentation, and full-funnel optimization. If you’re from India or Brazil, this will also be the first role inside our core team in those geographies. Hence, you will play a critical role in building, leading, and growing the teams in these two critical talent markets for Modak.
**What you will do**:
- Design, launch, and scale paid campaigns across Meta, Google, TikTok, and emerging channels.
- Build and execute a creative ads testing roadmap to discover what truly connects with our audience.
- Collaborate with design and leverage AI tools to develop storytelling-driven ads that resonate emotionally and culturally.
- Track and optimize key performance metrics (CAC, ROAS, attribution), scaling efficiently while maintaining brand integrity.
- Analyze results, generate hypotheses, and run rapid experiments.
- Contribute to growth initiatives beyond paid — from landing page testing to referral loops to activation flows.
- Stay ahead of trends in short-form video, social storytelling, and platform best practices.
**What success looks like**:
- Consistently hitting acquisition targets within CAC guardrails.
- Establishing a scalable system for creative testing and iteration.
- Driving measurable lift in paid performance and unlocking new growth levers.
- Acquiring users that are not only cost effective but highly retentive.
- If you’re from India or Brazil, this will also be the first role inside our core team in those geographies. Hence, you will play a critical role in building, leading, and growing the teams in these two critical talent markets for Modak.
**Who you are**:
A performance marketer with a growth mindset, analytical, creative, and experimental.
- Experienced in running paid campaigns on Meta and Google; familiarity with TikTok and other channels is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills: CAC, ROAS, A/B testing, attribution, funnel optimization.
- Creative intuition, you know how to build ads that don’t just earn clicks, but make people feel something.
- Collaborative and comfortable working cross-functionally with design, product, and engineering.
- Energized by autonomy, experimentation, and moving fast from insight to action.
**Bonus points if you have**:
- Experience marketing to Gen Z, or working in fintech, edtech, or youth-focused brands.
- A strong track record in creative testing and developing “scroll-stopping” ads.
- Curiosity about automation, scaling systems, or testing new acquisition channels.
- Well-versed in the newest AI tools for content generation and testing.
