As a Technical Program Manager in the Data Services division, you will play a pivotal role in managing a portfolio of data-centric projects, ensuring alignment with the strategic goals, and facilitating collaboration across various teams. Your expertise will be crucial
in driving the execution of projects, from initiation through completion, while also handling the influx of requests from other teams requiring data services support.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex data services projects, ensuring they meet established time, cost, and quality standards.
- Act as a liaison between the data services team and other departments, effectively managing and prioritizing external asks and resource allocation.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, schedules, budgets, and status reports.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, ensuring they are escalated appropriately and resolved in a timely manner.
- Foster a collaborative environment, facilitating communication and effective problem-solving among cross-functional teams.
- Drive continuous process improvements within the project management framework and data services operations.
- Contribute to the strategic planning of data initiatives, aligning project objectives with business goals.

**Requirements**:
**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Technical Program Manager, ideally with a focus on data-driven projects.
- Strong understanding of data management, database technologies, and software development life cycles.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with a talent for nurturing relationships across teams and disciplines.
- Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).

**Here are some essential technical skillsets**:

- Data Management and Analytics:

- Good understanding in data modeling, warehousing, and database management systems.
- Experience with big data technologies and data processing frameworks.
- Programming/Scripting Languages:

- Ability to read and understand code in languages such as SQL, Python, etc. This helps in interacting with data engineers and analysts and understanding technical challenges.
- Development Life Cycle (DLC):

- Familiarity with different phases of DLC, including planning, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, Scrum, and Kanban to manage projects effectively.
- Project Management Tools:

- Proficient in using project management software like JIRA.
- Cloud Technologies:

- Understanding of cloud services and architecture, especially with platforms like AWS. Knowledge in services related to data storage, computation, and analytics is particularly useful.
- APIs and Integration:

- Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and the ability to understand and oversee integration projects.
- Data Security and Compliance:

- Knowledge of data security protocols, data encryption, and privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) that affect data management practices.
- Performance Monitoring and Optimization:

- Machine Learning/AI:

- Business Intelligence Tools:

- Familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker for data
