**This position reports to**:
Area Sales Manager

**Your role and responsibilities**:
In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain vocational experience in sales through a temporary work placement. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB’s operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities. The work model for the role is: hybrid This role is contributing to the Sales Support in the Measurement and analytics team. Main stakeholders are sales specialists, managers and customers. - Collaborating with the sales team providing support in the sales operations, ensuring effective coordination and successful project completion within the defined timelines. - Preparation of technical presentations for clients in different industries (refineries, chemical, and thermal power plants) - Market research (energy sector) - Analysis of installed base and collaboration in the preparation of reports - Specification of analytical instrumentation (in technical and commercial proposals)

**Qualifications for the role**:

- Currently pursuing the final years of a Chemical Engineering degree
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical skills
- Knowledge of the English language
- Knowledge of process instrumentation and control (desirable)
