Job Summary: The General Job Technician is responsible for performing maintenance, diagnostics, and repair work on Toyota vehicles per the company's high standards of quality and efficiency.
This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills to ensure the satisfaction of Toyota Iligan's customers.
Key Responsibilities: Perform maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues in Toyota vehicles.Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure vehicle reliability and longevity.Utilize advanced diagnostic tools to identify and address vehicle issues.Conduct thorough inspections to ensure vehicles are in optimal condition.Document findings and provide accurate recommendations for additional repairs or services.Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle issues, required repairs, and estimated completion times.Ensure all work is completed to the customer's satisfaction and in line with Toyota's standards.Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when interacting with customers.Work closely with service advisors, parts personnel, and other technicians to ensure smooth workflow and timely vehicle servicing.Assist team members in complex repairs and share technical knowledge when needed.Perform post-repair quality checks to ensure all work meets Toyota's quality and safety standards.Maintain cleanliness and organization in the workspace to support quality and efficiency.Follow all company protocols and safety procedures during servicing and repair activities.Accurately document all work performed, including parts used and labor hours, for proper billing and record-keeping.Update job cards and service records as required.Report any unusual or recurring vehicle issues to the supervisor or service manager.QUALIFICATIONS: Must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Automotive-related courses.Work experience in vehicle maintenance or repair is an advantage.Excellent communication skills for effective customer and team interaction.Reliable, with high integrity and a strong work ethic.Eye for detail and accuracy to ensure repairs meet Toyota's quality standards.With a pleasing personality to represent Toyota Iligan professionally.Note: This is a general job description.
