**Job description**:
We are looking for an experienced senior PHP developer that works with OOP, the MVC pattern and MySQL databases on a daily basis to develop highly scalable and secure solutions.
**Your responsibilities**:
- Optimise code for performance and scalability
- Maintain and refactor legacy systems
- Contribute to team process improvements, adhering to industry best practices and principles
**You have**:
- 5+ years object-oriented PHP 7+ development experience (Laravel)
- Good knowledge about design patterns, security, and performance concepts
- Solid foundation in SQL databases and design, specifically MySQL
- Good understanding of RESTful architecture
- Good understanding of caching tools and techniques
- Experience with GIT and versioning tools
- Team player
**Desirable**:
- Good written, spoken, and interpersonal communication skills (English)
- Knowledge/Experience with NodeJS and VUE.
- Experience with agile methodologies (SCRUM).
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Minimal knowledge on linux server management.
