**Patexia** is a cutting-edge technology company dedicated to harnessing the power of data and analytics for intellectual property and patent solutions. We seek a highly skilled **Data Engineer / Prompt Engineer** to join our remote team. The role will focus on leveraging existing NLP tools to solve complex problems in entity resolution and patent data analysis.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Utilize extensive expertise in prompt engineering, particularly with OpenAI's ChatGPT, to tackle intricate challenges in text processing.
- Employ data engineering skills, including proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) tools such as BigQuery (BQ) and Google Cloud Storage (GCS), to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and devise innovative solutions using NLP tools.
- Take on versatile roles including Data Scientist, Data Analyst, and Data Engineer as project demands evolve.
- Interface with databases (SQL/NoSQL) for data management and engage in basic data engineering tasks as necessary.
- Present technical findings and articulate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in NLP technologies and assess their relevance to ongoing projects.
- Document solutions comprehensively and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.

**Qualifications & Skills**:
**Must-Have**:

- Demonstrated experience in prompt engineering, with a focus on **OpenAI's ChatGPT.**:

- Proficiency in data engineering, including hands-on experience with **GCP tools (BQ, GCS).**:

- Solid understanding of **NLP** concepts and methodologies.
- Ability to transition between **Data Scientist, Data Analyst, and Data Engineer **rolesseamlessly.
- Strong analytical capabilities and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently as well as part of a remote team.

**Good-to-Have**:

- Familiarity with Regression Analysis, BERT, LLaMa, Transformers, LSTM, and other advanced NLP techniques.
- Experience with BigQuery Machine Learning (BQ ML) and vector databases.
- Knowledge of Google Dataflow and Google Dataproc for data processing tasks.
