Software Test Engineer, Automated

**Job Title: SOFTWARE TEST ENGINEER, AUTOMATED #4006**

**Location: Buenos Aires, AR (Remote)**

**Summary**:
This remote based Quality Assurance role will report into the Hansen Software Development Manager and will work with the local development team responsible for developing and maintaining the existing automation framework and test suite. The Test Engineer will make sure the scripts are up to date, compatible with the latest production code and will help the team to run the suite and provide analysis of failed scripts to get the regression result before releasing the product to our clients. This job may include but not limited to the following responsibilities:
**Responsibilities**:

- Write scripts to execute test cases for API testing.
- Design and implementation test harnesses in C# or Java.
- Create, use, and maintain test harnesses in NUnit and Develop and Execute Manual Test Cases.
- Be able to debug code in C# or Java and direct web technologies and programming (html, IIS, web services) on solutions.
- Execute build release process and assist in designing, coding and testing software as part of the Agile team.
- Provide bug reports to development team while updating status & technical documents in Jira.
- Work directly with engineers to troubleshoot potential problem areas.
- Research functionality and implementation of current and futures testing techniques and technologies.
- Reviews all data obtained during all testing activities to ensure consistency with company policies and procedures:
**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- 4-year college degree in IT / Computer Science or a related and equivalent QA Testing experience in a proven Software Development environment required
- 3+ years of experience as a quality assurance engineer with background in developing test cases, test procedures, test scripts and test reports and doing the hands-on implementation of those
- 1 year experience in automated testing desired, Selenium experience a plus.
- Strong technical skillsets in SQL, Oracle, C#, Java, Windows client and server OS, IIS (Internet Information Server).
- Writing NUnit or Microsoft Test and Test-Driven Development.
- Strong technical knowledge with hands-on experience in analysis, design & debugging programs.
- Understanding of Source Control Tools: GIT, Stash, Source Tree.
- Ability to work in the Atlassian suite of products like JIRA and Confluence is also a plus.
- Understanding of Agile environment and working knowledge of SDLC is a plus.
- Domain experience in ERP industry preferable, Telecommunications a plus.
- Large scale integration projects and performance and/or experience with continuous delivery and integration.
- **Excellent English speaking and written communication skills a must.**
