In this role, you will be part of a regional team responsible for the execution of Global Payroll processes from pre-payroll inputs to delivery of payroll remuneration to associates.
**Position Overview**:
**This is a Fixed Term role (temporary for 8 months).**
The Senior Payroll Analyst will be part of a regional team responsible for the execution of Global Payroll processes from pre-payroll inputs to delivery of payroll remuneration to associates.
**Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities**:
- Gather variable payroll earnings & deduct inputs (data stored and not stored in SAP HR) and update the data in ADP system in line with predetermined cut off dates). Incorporate off cycle changes into regular payroll such as bonus payments (annual incentives, spot awards), annual benefit selections, and mobility and equity calculations, including taxable benefits. Ensure all calculations associated with the inputs are based on local regulatory requirements
- Coordinate data gathering with Non-HR information providers
- Perform ad-hoc country specific requirements in relation to payroll delivery processes. Trigger appropriate governmental communication related to social security enrolment, leave of absence due to work related accidents, terminations, pension plan withdrawals, etc.
- Ensure timely and accurate payments to tax authorities
- Review and analyze ADP Streamline pre-commit reports (draft calculations) ensuring accuracy and completion of the monthly country-specific checklist. Act as main focal point and work with Payroll Vendor to ensure accurate payroll reports (operational, accounting, and statutory) in alignment with Company policies and legal rules. Document payroll controls according to Controls & Compliance requirements. Recommend final payroll approval in line with segregation of duty requirements.
- Ensure company bank funding prior to payments and perform bank file release in accordance with Treasury processes and segregation of duties standards.
- Drive effectiveness and efficiency by continuous review of pre payroll / payroll processes while ensuring that effective controls are maintained. This responsibility will involve developing, documenting, and refining desk procedures and then cross-training team members. Support Operating Excellence (OE) initiatives and projects (Local and Global)
- Preparation and agreement of payroll calendars with relevant stakeholders; inputting metrics data/internal scorecard criteria to monitor individual, team and ADP performance levels.
- Peer review the payroll input templates prepared by team colleagues to ensure segregation of duties, compliance with Payroll Vendors, and adequate evidence of review in line with Company controls. Approval of the same in the Payroll Vendors platform (if applicable)
- Ensure accurate termination process, providing support to Stakeholders (as main decision makers), as well as support to former employees.
**Requirements**:
- University/Bachelor’s Degree (Finance/CPA/HR professional)
- 3+ years of experience in Payroll: understand the process for pre-payroll, payroll delivery, and post-payroll (social security, tax, accounting, reporting) for LATAM countries
**Functional Skills**:
- Knowledge of payroll accounting (is preferable)
- English language - Intermediate/Advanced
- Workday, SAP, MS Excel & Power-Bi skills
- Customer satisfaction oriented.
