**Process Scientist**

**Task and Responsabilities**:

- Provide technical support for the manufacturing of pharmaceutical and nutritional dosage forms. This involves planning, organizing, and executing technical projects as well as the statistical analysis of production data.
- Develop and implement action plans to improve Process Capability of defined products
- Work with Technology Transfer to support product transfers and improvement as needed on the testing phase. Develop commissioning documentation.
- Effectively communicate, explain, and implement solutions to manage results of designs, studies, and/or projects.
- Troubleshoot production issues, deviations and OOS, identify the root causes, develop risk analysis and implement action plans
- Act as the interface between Product Development, Production and Quality Assurance.
- Develop inputs for Validation/Qualification protocols in close collaboration with the Validation team
- Implement effective control strategies within the manufacturing environment.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline with 6 - 8 years of pharmaceutical product development experience under high regulated GMP environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Science, Industrial Pharmacy, Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, or Chemistry preferred.
- Advanced English level is required (written and oral)
- An excellent understanding of the unit operations associated with the manufacture of solid pharmaceutical dosage forms specifically related to vitamin products (coated granulated tablets, effervescent tablets)
- Experience with statistical process control and analysis tools
- Demonstrated experience on technical process improvement on complex formulations
- Demonstrated ability to explain, train all levels of personnel and implement solutions
- The flexibility to work in a team-oriented or independent environment depending on project needs.
- Demonstrated competencies: problem solving, practical judgment, initiative/assertiveness, job knowledge, leadership, planning/organizing, attention to detail, sense of urgency/timing, creativity/innovation, and strong written and verbal communication skills, resilience.
- Digital Manufacturing knowledge.
