**The Work You'll Do**:
As a Senior Project Manager at Sovos, you'll orchestrate the successful delivery of complex, multinational implementations that transform how Fortune 1000 companies manage their global tax compliance. You're not just managing timelines and budgets—you're enabling digital transformation initiatives that directly impact how businesses operate across borders and jurisdictions.

In this role, you'll leverage cutting-edge project management tools and AI-enhanced analytics to oversee the complete lifecycle of strategic implementations. Working with diverse, cross-functional teams spanning multiple continents, you'll ensure our clients successfully deploy solutions that process billions of transactions across 19,000 tax jurisdictions. Your expertise will be crucial in navigating the complexities of global implementations while maintaining the agility needed in today's rapidly evolving regulatory landscape.

- More specifically, you will:_

- Lead the complete lifecycle of global and multinational projects from initiation through closure, ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence, and exceptional quality standards
- Develop comprehensive project plans, scopes, and objectives in collaboration with stakeholders, leveraging both waterfall and agile methodologies to ensure technical feasibility and business alignment
- Manage project resources effectively across multiple time zones and cultures, coordinating with internal teams, external vendors, and client stakeholders to achieve implementation goals
- Provide regular, strategic updates to Fortune 1000 clients and internal leadership, conducting weekly project meetings and maintaining transparent communication throughout the implementation lifecycle
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks through sophisticated change control processes, developing contingency plans and managing escalations for complex project situations
- Oversee project financials including billable time and expenses, ensuring profitability while maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction across your project portfolio
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation using modern project management tools, establishing best practices that can be scaled across the organization
- Serve as the primary escalation point for project-related issues, making critical decisions that impact project outcomes while managing stakeholder expectations

**What We Need From You**

- Several years of project management experience in software/professional services companies, with 3+ years managing multi-country/multi-region implementations
- Mastery of both waterfall and agile project management methodologies, with the ability to adapt approaches based on project requirements and client needs
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget, with experience managing Fortune 1000 client relationships
- Strong proficiency with project management tools including Salesforce, plus advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Proactive use of AI tools and automation to enhance project efficiency, streamline communication, and optimize reporting, resource planning, and risk tracking
- Exceptional communication skills in both Spanish and English, with the ability to interact effectively with technical teams, executives, and diverse stakeholder groups
- Superior organizational and time management capabilities, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience with IT projects and understanding of software implementation lifecycles, particularly in SaaS and cloud-based solutions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make confident decisions under pressure and navigate complex, ambiguous situations
