- Developing Study Start-Up (SSU) functional short and long-term strategic plan and executing on CDC trial delivery strategy in close cooperation with CDC Head in accordance with global/regional KPIs.
- Building and managing the start-up team. Setting and monitoring performance targets and KPIs for the team & functional area in close cooperation with the with the CDC Head.
- Initiating and implementing change aiming at continuous improvement of the start-up clinical trial processes and practices (including digitalisation) in alignment with global as well as local initiatives.
- Managing lifecycle of clinical trial agreements, including investigator contracts across trials. Supervision of contract negotiation performance to ensure timely trial deliverables in accordance with Global/Regional KPIs.
- Partnering with cross functional teams like trial delivery, quality, local legal, finance to ensure compliance to local/NN policies and procedures.
**Required Qualifications**
- University degree (preferably in Life Sciences)
- Fluent in oral and written English and Spanish
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in clinical operations/clinical trials execution in Pharmaceutical industry or Clinical Research Organizations, managing projects, negotiating contracts and budget
- At least, 2-5 years’ experience in direct line management. Strong leadership skills and experience leading cross-functional teams
- Strong track record in clinical trial execution in multifunctional team at country level, including clinical quality (audits and inspections) and training
**Desired Qualifications**
- Master’s degree or PhD in life or natural sciences (desirable)
- Previous experience leading a start-up team within the Pharmaceutical industry
- Conceptual and strategic approach to the clinical organization development with strategic insight to trial start-up & supporting processes in the clinical trial conduct.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and emerging trends in study start-up to inform process improvements.
- Ability to gather and make sense of information that suggests new possibilities.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
