The Record-to-Report (R2R) Accounting Specialist will provide technical expertise and guidance to the members of the accounting team and be substantially involved in the implementation of process improvements for the different accounting processes.

**Responsibilities**:

- Record and/or Review journal entries in SAP for the assigned entities/regions in-line with the established Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Perform and review complex account reconciliations and resolve the reconciling items promptly
- Perform and Review period-end activities per the financial close schedules and the established guidelines
- Exercise strong analytical skills and sound professional judgment in complex situations
- Provide support for internal and external financial audits
- Leads the documentation of processes including writing up desktop procedures
- Act as the process Subject Matter Expert by providing on-the-job training/technical support to new team members

**Skills and Experience**:

- BA or BS in Accounting, Finance, or another Business discipline
- CPA or equivalent certification is a plus
- Solid experience in a relevant field (professional services firm and/or Shared Service Center is preferred)
- Strong analytical skills
- Solid understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and general accounting principles
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Business proficiency in written and oral English
