RRS contributes to the overall goals and objectives of Moody’s Investors Service by enabling the company to operate more effectively and to better meet the evolving expectations of our stakeholders. While the Rating and Research Team (R&R) retains ownership of our opinions on credit, the contribution of our RRS associates into the rating process is critical. Role/Responsibilities

At Moody’s, we are expanding our team in Buenos Aires. The Associate Analyst 3 (AA3) role is a great opportunity to start your career in the analytical world.

**About the role**

**Key Functions**
- Perform credit analysis of leveraged finance issuers, primarily North American small and medium enterprises.
- Complete subsequent updates of credit estimates.
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative credit analysis, including interpretation and analysis of financial data.
- Updating and preparing credit analysis write-ups, including the CE Memo and related models.
- Review rating documentation, including credit agreements and bond indentures.
- Coordinate on policy and operational initiatives with Moody’s Structured Finance Group and other Analytical Teams within Moody’s Corporate Finance Group.
- Be able to work independently as well as with a dynamic and cohesive team in the credit analysis of Corporate or Project & Infrastructure Finance issuers.
- Develop keen understanding of various Corporate or PPIF business models and be able to articulate sound credit judgement and rationales, both written and verbally.
- Performs administrative tasks for, among other things, document retention and regulatory compliance.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or related discipline
- 1+ years of relevant work experience, preferred
- Accounting background with strong focus in financial analysis (e.g., through coursework, CFA or equivalent, or relevant work experience).
- Solid knowledge/understanding of financial statements
- Excellent quantitative skills and financial/statistical research ability
- Ability to work using own initiative and without close supervision
- Strong MS Office skills: principally Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Solid verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills in English and Spanish
- Be highly organized and efficient; excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work pro-actively and multi-task in a constantly evolving environment
