**QA Engineer Responsibilities**:
- Manual and automated testing of our front end, backend, and mobile apps
- Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities with the internal development and product team
- Identify, record, track, and report on defects found
- Perform thorough regression testing prior to releases
- Collaborate with developers to refine and optimize API functionality
- Execute exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and optimize system performance
- Automate API testing workflows and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines
- Troubleshoot and resolve automation test failures in the pipelines
**Basic requirements**:
- 5+ years of experience in developing, and maintaining automated test solutions with a focus on API testing
- Experience with scoping, sizing and overseeing multiple concurrent projects, assessing the appropriate level of risk-based testing, and reviewing team deliverables
- Ability of working and multiple projects and releases, balancing time and effort for successful delivery
- Must have experience with Postman and managing collections
- Knowledgeable with various testing frameworks: Selenium, Cucumber, Jest, Mocha
- Full Understanding of WebSocket, REST and JSON
- Understanding of Software Testing Fundamentals
- Understanding and practical knowledge of CI/CD
- Experience with Jira and Confluence
- Experience with Node.JS, C#
- Good understanding of relational databases
- Team player with strong collaborative qualities and positive attitude
- Willingness to learn new technologies
- Good communication and coordination skills and able to work efficiently under pressure.
- Highly analytical and a problem solver.
- Able to think critically and identify alternative and unexpected workflows
**Preferred skills & knowledge**:
- Experience with cryptocurrency-related APIs and blockchain services
- Passionate about the Blockchain and Crypto space
- Must be a self starter who is not afraid to ask questions and find the information needed to complete assignments
