Job Purpose:
The UAT PM will be primarily responsible for the planning, coordination, execution, and progress reporting of UAT events for medium to large cross-functional projects. This involves cross functional interaction with business teams, UAT testers, and the IT department to ensure flawless planning and execution of UAT activities. The role also includes issue resolution/management for all UAT activities and requires the skills to negotiate through tight deadlines and demands from competing parties. The ability to gain alignment by proactive partnering with all levels across both the business & IT communities is a key to success.

UAT PM Junior can manage a small UAT, collaborate with other UAT PMs on bigger UATs or can manage a medium/large UAT with more experienced UAT PM guidance or support.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborates with PMs to understand the project scope and functionality to be tested
- Collaborates to establish a timeline to deliver UAT in line with major project milestones
- Collaborates to estimate resource requirements to complete UAT
- Manages to deadlines and competing demands
- Investigates and drives issues found in UAT activities, utilizing analytical skills
- Owner of the UAT Schedule
- Collaborates with UAT Status Reporting
- Collaborates with managing issue escalations within IT or Business teams to allow testing to continue
- Assists with UAT planning meetings and activities (UAT planning, timelines, scope & requirements).
- Partners with teams to align Project Schedules
- Collaborates to present UAT procedures to Business Groups and Project Teams
- Ensures a quality product or service is delivered, communicating consistently with customers
- Responsible for communicating system impacts on UAT schedules
- Responsible for working with PM to get correct scripts updated by Business prior to UAT
- Responsible for setting up test tracking tool for each UAT
- Responsible for ensuring the UAT environments, and required data setup are available to support testing
- Responsible for reporting progress status on UAT activities and issues to the project team and management
- Drives technical root cause analysis across multiple systems and ensures issue resolution
- Works with Global UAT manager and regional IT teams to ensure realistic UAT plans are in place
- Coordinates with PM and IT to identify and workaround system updates and test system outages

Skills & Experience:

- Project coordination (preferred)
- IT knowledge (preferred)
- Must have basic working knowledge of database and CRM systems (SAP preferred)
- 1+ year Project Management exposure preferred
- 1+ year experience on Test Lead or other relevant position
- Must have basic understanding of data set ups and preparation
- English Advanced - both written and spoken
- Comprehensive knowledge of Windows, Mac or Linux operating systems (Mac preferred)
