Avenga is looking for a Senior Node.js Engineer to contribute to our current project. The project is a Spanish fintech platform offering innovative payment solutions. It enables businesses to optimize transactions and provides customers with a secure, seamless payment experience.

As a Senior Node.js Engineer, you will take part in delivering cutting-edge, high-quality solutions to solve business problems.

**_This is you_**
- 5+ years of experience with Node.js
- Knowledge of microservices and/or event-driven architectures
- Experience using AWS, including serverless services such as AWS Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, StepFunctions, EventBridge, and DynamoDB
- Familiarity with the Serverless Framework or any Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tool
- Strong knowledge of creating and consuming RESTful APIs
- Working experience with NoSQL databases
- Experience with Agile methodologies and software development cycles
- Experience designing and/or developing scalable and highly available architectures

- Design and implement reusable and maintainable software components
- Evolve the architecture, and propose improvements that ensure stability and resilience in each project
- Offer solutions that support incorporating future functionalities
- Uphold best practices in every code review
- Work as a team, and coordinate tasks with different colleagues to achieve the proposed objectives
- Support and help colleagues, and share knowledge and ideas that can make others grow
