**Main responsibilities**: - Act as "data lead" on high profile cross-functional projects: work with business, product, and tech team to define the cross-platform data migration strategy, validation framework, and project plans and roadmaps - Translate the business needs into technical/data requirements for core banking products - Deep dive into the business problems, operational processes, and reporting requirements, and work with tech team to come up with creative and efficient data processing solutions - Conduct analysis to understand the core banking business logic and data defects, and develop the data pipeline to address the upstream data issues - Set up rigorous data quality monitoring and validation process on upstream core banking data - Work with business and product leads to track and monitor customer behavior changes during the migration project - Develop and maintain production level batch data transformation data pipeline to provide customer profile data and financial performance data for downstream reporting and analytical purposes **Requirements**: - Experience: - 6+ years of experience as a data analysts, data scientists or equivalent - 6+ years of business or data analysis in lending or payment solution industry - 3+ years experience in managing/mentoring junior analysts - Experience in analysis and validation of financial performance data - Skills and attitudes - Expert in SQL, git and a programming language (ie Python, Java, etc) - Experience with data lake or data warehouse, such as Redshift or Snowflake - Should be able to communicate and articulate their thought process optimally with cross-functional teams - Strong self-motivation and able to drive the project forward aggressively with tight timelines - Speak fluently in English - Bonus Points: - Experience in DBT - Familiar with credit card core banking logic, such as interest, delinquency, and payment calculation calculation
