Quality Assurance Engineer, Integrations Reliability

Using software integrations to connect with third-party systems and offer a seamless user experience is a key aspect of our product. The Integrations Reliability team is responsible for monitoring our integrations and pushing data-driven initiatives to ensure their stability and provide a quick response in case of service failure or degradation. They work alongside other technical services teams and our technical support team to take a proactive approach to observability, developing alerts to give visibility to the status of our integration.
Quality Assurance Engineers in this team perform technical and functional analysis of the way our platform exchanges information with third party software and help develop a technical design to satisfy our customers’ needs. They also actively monitor the health of deployed integrations to tackle issues before they affect our customers.
Your challenges and objectives
- Gain full understanding of product specifications.
- Obtain thorough knowledge of our complex and highly configurable platform.
- Work together with customer-facing teams, understanding their different needs.
- Add value to the product’s life cycle from step one.
- Deliver a high-quality product.

Your day-to-day activities
- Be the point of contact for different teams regarding QA issues, environment settings, and expected functionality.
- Communicate with customer-facing teams to identify specifications and use cases.
- Provide timely and meaningful feedback on specs for new implementations and review specifications and technical design documents when required.
- Detect needs related to testing and propose solutions.
- Leverage log analysis.
- Do integral testing (test new implementations, perform bug fixes and refactors) and API testing (REST, SoapUI, Postman).
- Define test cases and design test suites.
- Analyze and create alerts.
- Provide root cause analysis.
- Test, analyze, and fix defects and bugs.

About you
- Knowledge on ElastAlert, Kibana or Squealer is also a plus.
- Environment setup and server monitoring experience are a plus.
- Availability to work on shifts.
- Experience or knowledge on data flow and API testing.
- Experience in fixing defects and bugs (also helping with troubleshooting and understanding logs), and in providing root cause analysis to communicate it to customers.
- Experience in schema data testing.
- Curious and with strong analytical skills, especially to analyze data flows.
- Proficient in English.
