**Job Description** Scope of Position**

To support the air export manager in the smooth running of the department within the branch; I.e. the air export product in the marketplace through focus on Operations, Finances, Sales, People, Systems, and Culture in adherence to the company's policies and procedures.

**Major Duties and Responsibilities**
- Review and support with day-to-day quotations
- Support product with checking local charges and agreement quotes to ensure we minimize potential branch losses.
- Have thorough knowledge of the air Export product including Breakbulk, Gateway & Pricing knowledge.
- Plan and support with huddles and monthly meetings to discuss market intelligence and delegate workloads within the team.
- Take an active role in the transition of new business/ updates to existing business.
- Be open to implementing new system changes and enhancements into your department.
- Be involved and suggest system/process improvements.
- Assist the Manager with key staff with goal setting and monitoring development.
- Support the manager as required and applicable in the following areas:

- Proactively work to maintain accounts payment within 30 days. Ensure company credit procedures are followed and utilized effectively. Manage accounts payable to vendors (airlines, truckers etc.)
- Promote compliance in diligently following all company policies and regulations and in being the role model of integrity and pride for all employees. - Proactively communicate with the team to ensure continuous awareness and understanding of policies and regulations. - Maintain a positive relationship with the Trade Compliance Manager and support all compliance efforts and trainings.

**Qualifications**
- 2 years of industry specific qualification
- Proven supervisory attitude
- Good market and product knowledge
- Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results
- Good computer skills (Excel, Word)
- English language proficiency
