Sr. Consultant Vendor Management (P3)

**SR Consultant Vendor Management**

Responsible for managing the ongoing relationship with external vendors and internal stakeholders. Measures vendor actual service level performance versus contractual levels. Establishes continuous improvement processes whereby performance translates directly into corrective action plans and resulting improvements. Partners with Procurement and various business stakeholders in the Request for Proposal, Statement of Work and Contract phases of engaging a vendor. Completes internal projects within the function.

**Key Accountabilities**:
This role will provide you the opportunity to lead key activities to progress in your career, these responsibilities include some of the following:

- Establishes and maintains a strong communication channel with vendor organizations to increase efficiencies, reduce costs and strengthen customer service. Ensures vendors deliver on key metrics such as timeliness, quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
- Drives on-going process improvements to deliver increased operational efficiency in all vendor processes.
- Compiles, analyzes, and reports on vendor performance trends.
- Develops process for continuous improvement of SLA reporting with vendors.
- Analyzes supply markets, identifies cost drivers, in collaboration with procurement carry out RFI's/RFP's and assists with supplier negotiations as well as executing new and vendor renewal agreements
- Provides escalation to resolve contractual issues and responsible for tracking of escalated issues and reporting of root cause analysis
- Project management assignments
**Key Qualifications and Experience**
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

- 5+ years of relevant experience (Vendor management or procurement) or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Experience dealing with Procurement, contract creation and negotiation, vendor selection and escalations
- Financial and analytical experience
- Intermediate computer skills
- Comfortable dealing with senior management
- Strong executive presence, communication, negotiation, planning skills, commercial decision-making capability, influences others and builds strong working relationships.
- Strong project management shills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadline in a continuous basis.
**Preferred Qualifications**
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

- Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines on a continuous basis.
- Experience working for an IT company.
- MBA a plus, PMP plus, Vendor certifications plus
