As a Tier 2 Payroll Associate at SC Johnson you will be supporting the LATAM payroll team to ensure an effective and efficient delivery of payroll. You will support the inquiry management/resolution, transaction processing and general customer service.
**MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Support the end-to-end payroll process which includes:
input/data collection
pre
- payroll control
payment process
statutory and taxation payments
- Support other payroll processes such as: terminations, loans, advance payments, etc
- Support payroll software upgrades to ensure that the system is updated as per legal and statutory requirements
- Ensure to address employees’ concerns and queries in a timely manner
- Assist in the compilation and update of related payroll tools e.g., Country payroll manuals, wage type catalogues, process flows and payroll calendars
- Work with internal SCJ areas (i.e., Finance, Treasury, etc.) in order to process bank files and finalize the payroll process
**REQUIREMENTS**
- Bachelor’s degree in business, HR, or related discipline required
- 1-2 years payroll experience (desirable), HR Shared Services background preferred
- Language skills: intermediate level in English (mandatory)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office software (excel) - intermediate level
- Knowledge of payroll processes and procedures
- Analytical skills as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and operate efficiently under continuous change
- Drive for results, accuracy and control compliance
- Ability to handle sensitive situations and maintain a high level of confidentiality and to coordinate and lead multiple tasks and resources.
- Skilled in developing professional relationships with colleagues, supervisors, and peers
- Above average communications skills and customer service orientation
