**Budget control officer**

As a **Budget control officer **at Parser, you will be responsible for ensuring that the budget is produced in a timely manner and controlled throughout the financial cycle.

**The impact you'll make**:

- Assist with the preparation of operating budgets, working closely with each area manager.
- Design policies for budget spending and manage their implementation.
- Monitor the status of each budget spending and compare it to the approved budget.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and yearly budget variance reports.
- Analyze line items variances (at area and group level) to determine the source/explanation of the differences.
- Plan for future purchases/expenses by transferring money from one line item to another.
- Assist the Accounts Payable department to set up payments by confirming budget usage and limits.
- Make forecasts about budget needs for future periods.
- Monitor company expenses.
- Define budget management tool.

**What'll expect from you**:

- 2 + years of experience in a similar role
- Bachelor's degree or master's degree in accounting, business, economics, finance, or a related field
- Fluent English level
- Organized and detail-oriented.
- Ability to work with tight deadlines.
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Excel.
- Self-motivated and capable of working effectively individually as well as part of a team.
- Research skills & analytical skills
- Understanding of data privacy standards.
