**Position **:Procurement Manager

**Working Hours **:Mondays - Fridays, 8am-5pm CST

**Holidays **:US Holidays

**Salary**: USD 1200-2500/month

**Summary of the Position**:
The Procurement Manager will work closely with our Project Managers to coordinate and oversee the vendors and/or subcontractors in the bid process.

**Responsibilities**:

- Find and qualify construction vendors and subcontractors in various markets / cities in Texas (i.e. plumbers, electricians, excavation / dirt and concrete companies)
- Solicit these companies for pricing on multiple projects
- Discuss characteristics and attributes of projects to vendors and subcontractors.
- Follow up to ensure we receive pricing and bids in a timely manner, and per our bid schedule
- Organize and file bids and estimates as received in our file system
- Develop and send out bid invitations
- Send out scopes of work
- Qualify Bids
- Analyzing requirement documents, blueprints and project plans to gain a thorough understanding of the project
- Preparing material estimates and cost estimates for the product or service
- Developing and maintaining relationships with company vendors and contractors
- Managing bids from vendors and contractors
- Use bid data to prepare detailed a cost analysis and proposals
- Presenting prepared estimates to management and other stakeholders

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- 3-5 years of experience with a background in estimating small to mid-size restaurant, retail, and commercial projects.
- Understanding of the construction process on small - medium sized ground up projects.
- Familiarity with analyzing requirement data to develop material and cost estimates for mid-size projects
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents
- Expertise with spreadsheets and databases
- Excellent attention to detail
- Exceptional time management skills
- Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills

**Experience**:

- spreadsheets and databases: 3 years (preferred)
