About you and this role - What you would do in this role

Dow has an opportunity for a Senior Site Logistics Engineer located at Site Logistics plant in Bahia Blanca, Argentina.

**Responsibilities**:
- Work closely with the operations team leveraging their problem-solving skills and technical expertise.- Partner with experts to perform advanced troubleshooting and improve and document operating discipline.- Diagnose and document root causes of asset utilization losses in the facility.- Understand why specific procedure steps and precautions are needed and keeps a strong field presence to reinforce the importance.- Conduct daily review of logbook and Aspem data to better understand the operation and stay engaged with daily activities.- Maintain, own, and review daily Key Process Indicators (KPI)/ trends to ensure optimum performance.- Respond urgently to plant issues and emergencies.- Act as a unit technical expert during unplanned events and drives implementation of effective corrective and preventative actions.- Ensure compliance with plant operating permits. Understands site integration and provides input to optimize the overall system.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree plus engineering, manufacturing or related experience required.- Advanced English verbal and written communications.- Demonstrating competencies in the areas of leadership, communication, initiative, teamwork, and interpersonal effectiveness.- Ensuring a safe work environment by working safely and, complying with environmental, health and safety standards.- Strong work ethic and being able to remain productive in an empowered team environment.

Preferred qualifications- 3 years of engineering, manufacturing, supply chain operations or related experience.
