**Job Overview**

The CTE must achieve and excel in the provision of both clinical and practical support, at a national and international level, for all health care professionals (HCPs).

To effectively deliver this service, the CTE will be expected to build collaborative relationships with all HCP’s at the clinical trial sites via high standards of communication, and strong networking skills.

Communicative collaboration must also be maintained at the highest level internally, between all departments engaged on the project. With optimization of personal performance to deliver on all aspects of project goals.

**Key Job Responsibilities**

Site Engagement:

- Provide practical support to study sites to maximize potential for patient enrolment.
- Be able to respond to requests for support and to be competent in ability to execute.
- Identify common site issues and work with relevant stake holders to provide creative options to overcome these barriers.
- Provide ongoing training and information on all aspects of the study protocol.
- Conduct recruitment training sessions.

Study Awareness:

- Identify patient flow or pathway and work with identified departments to raise awareness of protocols and the potentials for patient inclusion.
- Provide support for possible therapy side effects and information on how to manage the same.

Study Insight:

- Work with research sites to identify and address recruitment barriers.
- Where required conduct training for new study staff.
- Act as a resource for HCPs at the clinical study site by sharing best practices and strategies for patient recruitment and retention.
- Liaise between all internal and external stakeholders as a conduit of information.
- Oversee own travel schedule in accordance with IQVIA travel policy.
**Required Education, Professional Experience and Abilities**
- 3yr+ in Clinical Ops/Medical Affairs/Biotech/Pharma industry or 2yr+ as CRA or 2yr+ as CTE or MSL or a combination of those areas.
- Bachelor's degree in health or related field and desirable advanced science or clinical degree (Pharm D, Ph.D. NP, MD, MSc, BSc, RGN).
- Experience of working in a clinical research environment.
- Clinical competence in Psychiatrics and CNS therapeutical areas.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Fluent English.
