Purpose of this position
The Market Research & Business Insights Specialist will be responsible for driving external research of key insights and data to gain an outside in view of trends, competitors, and Janssen positioning at a cluster level. Its goal is to support BI and Analytics teams with research, data, and knowledge of his/her corresponding cluster and understand peculiarities of the customers (HCP, Patients, Payers) in his area. This position will report to the Market Research & Business Insights Leader and will have constant communication with other BACI stakeholders and Cluster leaders to define and prioritize market research initiatives.
Main Responsabilities
Focus on key business questions and frame business problems into research and intelligence plans
Provide integrated insights that drive the business for their respective cluster
Design or procure primary researches, internal or external
Proactively identify new data sources that will enhance decision making and streamline efforts
Contribute to the development of brand strategies for products, services, and programs including value proposition, segmentation, positioning, and lifecycle management
Monitor customer engagement across various channels and platforms
Drive market research projects from end-to-end
Understand local peculiarities and differences for HCP, patient, and payer journeys to help build local brand plan
Deliver insights and recommendations clearly to relevant, non-technical audiences
Manage research databases, developed and purchased, to support Brand and TAs analysis locally
Lead secondary researches to complement Brands and TAs databases and analysis
Lead and manage qualitative and quantitative primary market research projects for the cluster
Collaborate with other BACI partners for on-demand projects
**Qualifications**
Experienced professional (+3 years) with proven track record working with Market Research and Business Intelligence.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, marketing or a related field.
Experience on data collection methods (polls, focus groups, surveys, etc.)
Hands on experience designing, implementing and presenting a range of primary and/or secondary market research methodologies is preferred
Academic and practical experience with a wide array of new product, brand, advertising and customer satisfaction research methodologies

Key Functional and Leadership Competencies
Skilled in agile ways of working and ability to effectively influence and communicate cross-functionally with all levels of management
Excellent knowledge of statistical packages (SPSS, SAS or similar), databases and MS Office
Good analytical and numerical skills
Creative, problem-solving skills and business awareness
Local pharmaceutical market experience and knowledge.
Strategic thinking, collaboration and teaming and strong communication skills
High proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing in English is required.
Portuguese and Spanish are desirable
