Senior Payroll Specialist

This role is an escalation point to provide specialist expertise to triage and resolve cases within the tiered service delivery model. Requires working knowledge and experience in own job discipline and receives a moderate level of guidance and direction.

Main Responsibilities

1. Implements and delivers end-to-end solutions in assigned discipline(s) to deliver a best-in-class employee experience.

2. Supports program development related to their area(s) of expertise to improve the employee experience, balanced with function-specific needs and drivers.

3. Engages with third party providers to establish, develop, and review the suite of services in assigned discipline(s).

4. Addresses escalated Payroll inquiries and reviewer/approver of transactions, as applicable.

5. Must be able to support and guide employees and managers and guarantee the correct flow of data and integration between HR disciplines to payroll, focus on continuous improvements.

6. Be able to work under time pressure and in an analytical way, getting opportunities to improve our process documenting all steps necessary to run payroll.

7. Responsible for monthly payroll cycles in an outsourced environment, reviewing payroll process and calculation, working with our payroll representative in the operation.

8. Process and control of Social Security, Income Tax and regulatory reports.

9. Attend to Internal and External Payroll Audits (Sox, Government, etc).

10. Reporting & Analytics as required.

11. Payroll Projects management as leader and individual contributor.

12. Hands on and capability to create solutions and improvements for payroll operations and its relationship.

13. Understand time data entry and data flow since received from Time Attendance specialist and its respective calculation in payroll system.

14. Be able to resolve technical issues and provide orientation to global team for issues resolution related to Payroll process/projects.

15. Be able to work with massive data collection and processing.

Required Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related areas.

2. Payroll knowledge for calculations process, legislation, and documentations, it is required to keep process document for any Payroll Activity performed in our global data base (documentation must be in English).

3. Strong knowledge in Legal Payroll requirements in Argentina.

4. Strong organizational skills and attention to details.

5. Be able to support Latin America employees in case of urgent matters replacing another team member as necessary, even payroll representatives.

6. MS Excel is required at an advanced level, to be able to manage metrics, calculations, and analysis.

7. Advanced or Fluent English in verbal and written communications is required to support operations in LA, contact with Global team and international payroll vendor. Regular meeting in English or Spanish will be required.
