Guidewire Developer

Job Title: Guidewire Developer Location: Canada (Onsite) Job Type: Full-time Job Description: We are seeking a talented and experienced Guidewire Developer to join our team. As a Guidewire Developer, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and implementation of Guidewire applications. This is a remote position based in Canada. Responsibilities: Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and other stakeholders to gather and understand requirements. Design and implement Guidewire solutions based on business needs. Customize and configure Guidewire applications to meet specific project requirements. Develop and maintain integrations with other systems and third-party applications. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in the Guidewire applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Stay updated on Guidewire platform updates and best practices. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Proven experience as a Guidewire Developer, with expertise in Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, or BillingCenter. Strong knowledge of Java and object-oriented programming. Experience with Gosu programming language is a plus. Familiarity with insurance industry processes and practices. Experience in designing and implementing Guidewire integrations. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Guidewire certification is desirable.
