Solutions QA Engineer - Bilingual (English/Spanish)

- Full-time

As a company, it is our constant endeavor to extend aid to bright young engineers by offering them the opportunity to work with our highly skilled experts and gain a foothold in their careers. We are looking for a bilingual Solutions QA Engineer to join our rapidly expanding solution development team. This role is primarily responsible for testing Spanish-speaking customers’ solutions built using the Zinier platform and products. The primary focus of this engineer will be to build test plans and troubleshoot failures in existing applications.

Responsibilities:

1. Test the solution based on Test Cases and Requirements in Spanish.
2. Translate any bugs or feedback for the Engineering team to English.
3. Review quality specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
4. Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
5. Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate quality testing activities.
6. Identify, record, and document thoroughly and track bugs.
7. Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
8. Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
9. Liaise with internal teams (e.g., developers and product managers) to identify system requirements.
10. Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.
11. Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.

Experience:

1. Fluent in Spanish and English - reading, writing, and speaking.
2. Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
3. Testing experience with Android, iOS, and Web.
4. Testing experience with APIs.
5. Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
6. Understanding of both white box and black box testing.
7. Hands-on experience with automated testing tools like Selenium, Unified Functional Testing, Ranorex, etc.
8. Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
9. Should have experience in SQL.
10. Understanding of telecom use cases preferred.
11. A commitment to doing the right things the right way.
