Description
1) Insurance
- Company Fleet Insurance
2) Procurement
- Ensure the implementation of the global Procurement of NPM policies within Mercedes-Benz Egypt & its subsidiaries. “B63 & C174”
- Develop local guidelines/process with a clear strategy when purchasing goods and services aligned with Egyptian Market standards & law starting from the supplier selection to the payment according to MB standards.
Daily Procurement:
- Working with other internal departments “support key persons” to ensure the clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company to overcome issues and concerns.
- Liaising with internal project team.
- Gather proposals based on RFQ and negotiate purchase terms and conditions along with the price and quality.
- Resolve daily operation/purchasing obstacles such as incorrect orders and invoices.
- Developing strong relationships with key suppliers and measure suppliers’ performance based on cost, quality, delivery, and service level.
- Researching and identifying potential suppliers.
- Prepare an annual report that determines the discounted rate applied for each purchase supporting the company’s goals.
- Monitor the timeline for each tender/purchase and develop an enhancement plan to tackle bottlenecks.
Daily Support for SWT Users:
- Supporting Fiori users with system issues/bugs along with the IT department and the SWT support team.
- Handling of required Purchase Requisition and Purchase Order.
Internal Control/Quality/ISO:
- Ensure compliance with defined internal controls process.
- Support annual internal and external audit.
Qualifications
Educational Background
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.
Technical Knowledge
- Understanding of Purchasing principles.
- 1 to 2 years’ experience in a similar work field.
- Experience with Purchasing systems (preferred SAP).
- Negotiation skills & ability to convince others.
- Verbal and written English communication skills.
- Proactive, highly motivated, and flexible.
- Highly organized.
- Experienced with MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
