Medical Science Liaison – CSL Reporting to the Director of Medical Affairs LATAM for Seqirus, the Medical Science Liaison (MSL) is a field‑based medical colleague responsible for providing medical and scientific information for the designated vaccines and other therapeutic products in the assigned region (comprised of one or more countries in LATAM) with a focus on vaccines. The MSL serves as an authoritative source of clinical expertise on Seqirus registered vaccines and communicates new approved medical content to vaccine health‑care professionals (HCPs) in local, regional, or national capacities, including decision‑makers, medical groups, integrated delivery networks, payers, professional societies, and government organizations. The MSL provides truthful, accurate, and scientifically supported information in response to unsolicited medical requests from HCPs in a manner compliant with all applicable Seqirus guidelines, policies, and procedures. The role combines deep scientific expertise in vaccines and influenza with strong data‑analytics capabilities, enhancing scientific strategy by integrating epidemiologic data, real‑world evidence, and digital insights, and driving impactful medical engagement aligned with public health priorities and immunization goals. Key Responsibilities - Develop and maintain strong scientific relationships with vaccine and influenza Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), researchers, public health authorities, and immunization program stakeholders. - Provide high‑quality medical and scientific support to internal teams (Medical Affairs, Marketing, Market Access, Regulatory, Field Teams). - Deliver scientific presentations and facilitate evidence‑based discussions on influenza epidemiology, vaccine technologies, immunogenicity, effectiveness, and safety. - Conduct advanced KOL mapping and segmentation using data analytics tools and digital platforms. - Identify and synthesize medical insights from real‑world data (RWD), surveillance systems, epidemiologic reports, dashboards, and scientific literature. - Support real‑world evidence (RWE) studies, observational research, and post‑marketing commitments in the field of influenza and respiratory vaccines. - Leverage digital technologies (CRM systems, omnichannel platforms, AI‑powered tools, analytics dashboards) to enhance scientific engagement and internal decision‑making. - Monitor emerging global and regional trends in influenza viruses, vaccine uptake, program performance, and public health recommendations. - Translate complex scientific and epidemiological data into clear, actionable medical narratives and strategic insights. - Contribute to educational initiatives for healthcare professionals, immunization programs, and scientific societies with a data‑driven approach. Required Skills & Qualifications - Advanced degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, Biology, or related life sciences; MSc/PhD preferred. - Prior experience as MSL or in Medical Affairs within vaccines or infectious diseases strongly preferred. - Required fluency in Spanish and English, oral and written. - Solid skills in data analytics (Excel advanced, Power BI, Tableau, or similar). - Experience with digital engagement tools, CRM platforms, and AI‑based medical technologies. - Strong scientific communication skills (written and oral). - Analytical and data‑driven mindset with ability to interpret epidemiologic and clinical data. - Strategic thinking to generate meaningful insights for vaccines and influenza portfolios. - Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build credible scientific relationships. - Digital agility and comfort working with evolving technological tools. - High scientific integrity and commitment to evidence‑based medicine.
