Technical Lead, Application Software Development
Group: Mercedes-Benz Group AG
What we are looking for:
1. Lead and develop the software function for Entry, Drive, and Access authorization functions.
2. Lead and implement the software through suitable model-based and/or hand-coded methods.
3. Integrate the software on both real and virtual targets.
4. Implement automated tests on unit and integrated software levels.
5. Trace and debug the software function in the test environment and on the embedded target.
6. Visualize the requirement in Classic Autosar Full stack (Base and Application layers).
7. Work in an Agile way and live Agile principles.
8. Possess good communication skills and the ability to work and contribute as a good team player.
9. Mentor team members and create a positive influence in the team.
10. Spread your knowledge and experience in the team, with product ownership and leadership at the core.
Going Beyond:
1. Contribute towards building the architecture for the software functions.
2. Enhance the system-level requirements through product-based thinking.
3. Have a passion for state-of-the-art software engineering practices such as CI/CD, TDD, Everything-as-Code, and DevOps.
4. Be ready to accept challenges and push the boundaries regarding quality and efficiency.
5. Experience in the automotive field and exposure to a multicultural environment is an advantage.
6. Exhibit a mindset of innovation and collaboration, proven through publications, patents, etc.
7. Set examples of learning and co-creation in your experience.
8. Basic knowledge of the German language is preferable.

What are your Qualifications:
Bachelors/Masters Degree in Control Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Electronics and Communication, or relevant skills acquired in previous occupations.
What are your Skillsets (non-exhaustive):
1. Requirements – PREEVISION, DOORS NG, FOSS based, etc.
2. Development – V-cycle based, Matlab Simulink, Stateflow, Embedded C, C++, Targetlink.
3. Development diversity – Python, Rust.
4. Test – TPT, MXAM, Embedded C/C++ Testing, Static Code Analysis.
5. Dev and Test – CANOe, CANApe.
6. Quality, Func Safety – ASPICE and FUSI.
7. Public key protocols, hardware-based key storage, and radio standards. Security Certification.
8. Experience in access and entry-based vehicle systems.
9. AUTOSAR Base layer and related Vector tools knowledge.
