We are seeking an experienced Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our dynamic team, guiding our software development projects through all stages of the development lifecycle. This role is pivotal in maintaining our award-winning momentum by building and optimizing our web applications’ user interfaces using various platforms with an emphasis in Python programming. Having a strong technical background in both back-end and front-end development is a must. You will have the opportunity to lead a small team but should be an engineer first. This is a 100% Remote, Full-Time opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code for both front-end and back-end applications.
- Ensure high performance and responsiveness of applications by implementing best practices.
- Perform code reviews, application builds, and mentor junior developers.
- Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.
- Leverage database expertise to design and optimize database schemas for efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Participate in code reviews, freely giving and receiving constructive feedback.
- Implement automated build and release definitions.
- Write unit and integration tests.
- Troubleshoot and resolve bugs and issues in a timely manner.
- Research new and innovative technologies and discuss the pros and cons of adopting them.

What you'll need for success:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field; Advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years’ experience coding in Python using both procedural and object-oriented methodologies.
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer or similar role.
- Experience with databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL).
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
- A portfolio of past projects and code samples is a plus.
